Marriage of Convenience

I don’t normally have audacity. It takes a great amount of thought, contemplation, analyzation before I am ready to pull the trigger on anything. Anything new in life is often inconvenient…

There’s a delay, from when I think of something to when I actually do it… and in that space of time where something is thought of, and little is done towards that idea, the doubts creep in. The fear begins…

The results speak for themselves. Elon Musk says something to the effect of we should always be thinking of our future self in 3-5 year terms because the life we live now is a direct result of the actions, habits and thoughts from 3-5 years ago.

In my pursuit of liberty, I will reflect on the actions taken today. Sometimes painful, sometimes reticent, yet there is always action taken, even if that “action” is inaction. We are still choosing to do nothing.

In each step, each action, each inaction, each choice it is helpful to remember that it is often inconvenient… that step towards the thought in our heart… it can be terrifying.

Yet, the longer we wait, the more terrifying it becomes… we become weaker when we don’t act immediately, when we don’t seize the opportunity our imagination gives us…

When we are weak, our desire to create is dampened, until, instead of shining bright, we become a lesser light, doomed to live in the shadows of those who have stepped in, and stepped up towards their potential, towards their souls longing, their lives reflecting the state of what could have been in our lives, and what still could be…if we embrace the inconvenience of the moment when our spirit leaps towards a higher purpose.

Choose the liberation that comes when we are taking the actions which support our souls purpose.
